What is Support at Home?

Support at Home is a government funded service that helps older Australians live independently in their own homes. It provides personalised assistance with daily activities, health and wellbeing, and staying connected to the community. The aim is to make life at home easier, safer and more fulfilling while maintaining dignity and choice.

If you have been approved or assigned Support at Home funding through My Aged Care, our team will help you personalise your care services to suit your needs and budget, from everyday household tasks to specialised support, ensuring a smooth, reliable and compassionate experience that helps you live confidently in your own home.

Support at Home Funding Levels

The Support at Home program offers eight levels of funding designed to match the level of care and support each individual requires. Once assessed and approved, clients are allocated a funding level that enables them to access the most suitable services for their personal needs and goals.Please note that the budget amounts are indicative and may be adjusted in line with government reviews or changes.

How to Get Started?

Getting started with Aman Care Support at Home is simple and guided every step of the way. From your first registration with My Aged Care to receiving personalised care in your own home, our team is here to make the process easy, transparent and stress-free.

Register

Start by signing up with My Aged Care and completing your initial screening.

Assessment

Aged Care will arrange an assessment to understand your needs and the level of support required.

Support Plan

Together with the assessor, you will develop a personalised plan that suits your lifestyle and goals.

Notification

You’ll receive your Notice of Decision and be added to the Priority System waiting list.

Choose Aman

Once funding is approved, select Aman Care Support at Home as your trusted provider.

Confirm Costs

Aman will review your referral and confirm your funding details for a clear understanding of costs.

Income Assessment

You’ll complete a simple financial check to determine any applicable contributions.

Agreement

We’ll finalise your service plan, care details and budget together before starting.

Support at Home Pricing

Our clinical support services are designed to help you stay healthy, active and independent at home. Whether it’s managing an ongoing health condition, improving mobility, or enhancing memory and thinking skills, our qualified professionals provide care tailored to your needs.

All clinical care services under Support at Home are fully funded by the Australian Government, meaning you won’t have to pay any out-of-pocket costs for these essential supports.

You may be eligible if you're over 65 (or over 50for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders) and need help with daily tasks or health care at home.

How do I apply for a Home Care Package?

Start by contacting My Aged Care on 1800 200 422.They’ll guide you through the assessment and referral process.

What if I need support while I wait for a package?

We offer privately funded services that can begin immediately no government assessment or delays.

Will the care reflect my religious or culturalbackground?

Absolutely. Our care is tailored with deeprespect for your faith, language, customs, and family values.

Can my care plan be changed later?

Yes, your care plan is reviewed regularly andcan be adjusted anytime as your needs change
